A Multi-Specialty
Dental Office

Dental professionals who share the same clinical and philosophical views about oral health care are brought together in our multi-specialty practise at Pretoria Bridge Dental. High-quality clinical care and all varieties of dentistry are conveniently available from us under one roof. We provide periodontal and endodontic procedures, orthodontics for adults and kids, paediatric dentistry, and comprehensive cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening, veneers, full mouth reconstruction, and dental implants to our patients in addition to routine dental care.

Pretoria Bridge Dental is a multi-specialty dental practise that can serve the entire family. We can help you avoid wasting time and frustration calling around to different doctors, transferring records, and making appointments. Every patient in our clinic has a dental home with our team of specialists that evolves with them and their changing requirements.

Treating Our Patients Like Family

Records Transfer for
Total Care

It is critical that you ask your previous dental clinic to send us a copy of any X-rays and dental records that are currently on file in order to further guarantee a smooth transition into our practise at Pretoria Bridge Dental.

We can establish a more thorough, collaborative, and comprehensive diagnostic for your treatment since our dental specialists collaborate in one place and can consult with one another in real time. All prescribed treatments and procedures can be offered in a single place, whereas they may have previously needed to be supplied in four or five distinct offices.

Anxiety Free Dentistry

At Pretoria Bridge Dentistry, we are experts in anxiety-free dentistry procedures, and we’ll help you have the best dental health possible. We will always work with you to choose the best course of treatment, we will use technology to lessen pain, we will offer sedation so you can receive more treatments in a single visit, and we will offer non-intrusive, non-surgical treatments to help you feel at rest. Multiple procedures can be accomplished in fewer visits since sedated patients can get treatment for longer in one session.

FAQs

Your first appointment will likely be more detailed than most checkups and cleanings to allow your dentist a thorough look at your teeth. This appointment usually involves a detailed examination of your teeth, an x-ray of your mouth and a conversation with your dentist to discuss your previous dental history. This first appointment allows you and your dentist to become acquainted, and lets your dentist find out what best suits your dental needs.

Children should come for their first dentist appointment around the time when their teeth start coming in, or when they are 1 – 3 years old. While most children are unlikely to have dental problems, it is always best to be sure.

If ever you have any concerns about your child’s oral health, don’t hesitate to contact us!

A child’s first dentist appointment is in part about examining and cleaning the teeth, but it is also about getting them comfortable with their dentist and the dental office. Having a positive experience at the dentist at a young age helps make children more comfortable with dental visits.

There are many things that you can do to help make sure that your teeth stay clean. The most important thing is to brush your teeth 2 – 3 times a day, once should be before you go to sleep at night. Make sure that you are using a toothbrush that is comfortable and doesn’t cause you pain. You should replace your toothbrush every 2 – 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become worn. We recommend a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste for those over the age of 3 years old. Regular flossing also helps to keep oral hygiene up to a good standard.
