Dr. Jessica Gubernat was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors of Science with Distinction in BioMedical Science where she was also on the Deans Honour list. Dr. Gubernat then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry with Distinction at the University of Western Ontario where she was on the Deans Honour list and in the standing first quarter of her class. While at dental school, Dr. Gubernat was awarded the Elgin Dental Association Award in Oral Surgery.
Ever since Dr. Gubernat was young, she knew she wanted to be a dentist. She strives to make every experience a positive one for patients and is a big believer in preventative dentistry and educating patients. Dr. Gubernat is proficient in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge work, pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, Invisalign and oral surgery. She is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
In her spare time, Dr. Gubernat loves enjoying time with friends and family and will take any opportunity to explore the great outdoors; whether she’s cycling, hiking, camping or just skating along the canal.
